Mrs Currey recommend Tony Parsons and Rachel Treasure. They are Australian authors. Another couple are Nicholas Sparks and Nicholas Evans

The series I’m reading is called LEFT BEHIND. This series is by Tim Layhae (unsure of how to spell the name) an Jerry B Jenkins, I’m curently a book 5, but I haven’t been able to find it. The school library has the first 2 of the 12 book series

Hi everybody, i am just doing this for the heck of it. At the moment I am reading the Runelord Saga. It is a good Saga of books. It is about men who take other peoples strength, wit, smell, touch and much more. it is a good book based in the time of swords and bows.

Great to hear from you guys about what you’re reading. Sorry the moderation is slow at the moment. We’ll have to keep up with the series situation but our budget doesn’t always let us buy all of them.

You really need to get in the rest of the runelord books. The libary has 2 of them, the first 2, but there are 2 more called Wizard born and the Lair of bones. If you want more info, go to…
Sorry that i can’t enter the site name, but the stupid blog won’t let me put it in. so if you want to know the site, send me a e-mail at matthewfredrox@hotmail.com
The libary can even buy the books from that site (Via amazon.com)

Great to hear and see the amount you’re reading guys.
I’m trying to read as many of the books on the shortlist for the Children’s Book of the Year Awards.
The 1st one is Ursula Dubosarsky’s The Red Shoe.
It is like a spy story but not really, it is about three girls and their family but the important bit about the red shoe is only show to you a bit at a time. You know something has happened but you don’t know what. The book is sad, interesting, and a window on post war times. Given that people are still involved in war type situations today it is a story worth reading.
Ordinary people touched by much bigger things.

Guys I have written brief reviews of all but 3 of the shortlisted books for the Children’s Book Council Book of the Year 2007 in both the older and younger readers categories. I’d love to hear from anyone who has read any of the books or has ideas about which might win each category.

I was reading a few weeks ago a book called Quadehar the Sorcerer. It is part of a series called ‘The Book of the Stars’ and I cannot find the second one yet. It is written by Erik L’Homme.

Hello, everybody!
I was just thinking, does anybody know when the sequel to Matthew Reilly’s Six Sacred Stones is coming out? ‘Cause the book ended with a cliffhanger. And I HATE it when books end with cliffhangers.
